Over the course of many years I have been a loyal country road member and have regularly found the staff at Country road castle hill some of the rudest retail assistants I have ever encountered I received a gift for my son and simply wanted to exchange a size and they made it more difficult than it needed to be. How any of the team here have jobs is beyond me. The arrogance of this store is incredible. My wife came in to swap a shirt i purchased for her, wouldnt let her swap it as account was in my name and wouldnt access the receipt for her, even though both of our names are clearly on the account. Never spending another dollar at country road. Had arrogant service regularly before, don't dare waste their time bringing anything back as everytime I've tried they make excuses. Better quality and much better service elsewhere.
Visited 1230, 3/2/25. Staff were helpful and attentive, went above and beyond and very kind and patient when my newborn started fussing and crying. Kudos to the lovely staff, will be back!
Country Road is funny about returns and refunds. It has that policy where it has to not only be the same card you purchase with, but the specific version (physical card or digital). That’s not a thing, it’s an arbitrary barrier to a consumer’s right to refund when they have proof of purchase. Will avoid shopping here in the future.
I attended the store on Boxing Day 2025 to exchange a gift I received on Christmas Day. The gift was valued at $100 and I exchanged the gift for shoes valued at $90. I waited in line at the counter and after 10 minutes, I was unfortunately served by the blonde 50ish year old who had one of the poorest customer service skills I’ve ever come across.
