Country Meadows in Hershey is a remarkable place. At 94 our very independent Dad was no longer able to live alone. Our initial visit quickly showed us that Country Meadows is a place where residents thrive. The staff worked tirelessly and with genuine interest to help us navigate through Dad's hospital and rehabilitation stays to his arrival at Country Meadows for their Pathways program. Top Notch facility. They have caring staff that go above and beyond for the care of the people that live there. I can't say enough good about the care and facility. They really care about the people that live there and their quality of life.
I can't think of anything this place is lacking when it comes to a retirement home or nursing care. Very well equipped to handle just about everything I would think.
FOR VOLUNTEERS: I would just like to share my perspective as a past volunteer of Country Meadows. While I truly valued my time there and loved many parts of the experience, toward the end there was an incident that has stayed with me to this day, one that was frustrating, demeaning, and deeply disappointing.
