I bought water softener salt here and it's twice as expensive as our Rona, and every other store in Okotoks. I understand that a small town store needs to charge more to survive but that's ridiculous. Good luck once the new IGA opens, no more gouging.
This place is horrible. I have gone here 6 times now on Friday afternoons, different weeks, different months looking for ground pork. It is never in stock. Never have any bread that is on sale. The produce goes bad rather quickly compared to other places. Prices for things like cereal are outrageous. I will never be shopping here again, I have lived in TV for over a decade. They say shop local, well I can't wait for another grocery store to open in town.
Doesn't have a lot of what I need but the butcher is great! I wish they had some organic meat but generally I find the meat here exponentially better quality than Costco or other stores in Okotoks.
I’ve been debating leaving this review…. But after seeing that this is a reoccurring issue and she’s somehow still employed here I feel like I need to say my part. The older lady at the till acts completely miserable every-time she’s working, and she projects this miserable attitude towards her coworkers and every single customer. Nice enough store, if not on the expensive side. That being said after stopping in last week to pick up a few groceries I won’t be stepping foot in it again. The elderly woman behind the til was beyond rude, I asked her how her night was going and she muttered something about being surrounded by morons, I asked for some bags and I got glared at then had the bags thrown at me.
