Mom moved into Country Cottage in an independent living suite in March of this year. Our family and my mom have been very pleased with the care and attention of the all the staff here. Her suite is perfectly suited with lots of space for her favourite items, lots of room to move about, and it makes her feel at home and comfortable. She has commented that she loves the food and enjoys her daily excersize class. What a lovely residence Country Cottage is! Not only is the building clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated, but the staff is very friendly, caring, and helpful. A million thanks to: Ronalane who helped us plan and organize a surprise 90th birthday celebration for our dad/grandpa last week, the chef who beautifully prepared our dinner and made us feel like royalty, the staff who transformed the activity room into a glitzy gala event space with such fancy decorations, and anyone else who helped make this celebration... read more
From what I’ve experienced so far this staff is lovely. Not sure about all these negative reviews.
I have been performing at Country Cottage for many years. I always get a friendly greeting when I arrive and asked if there is anything I need. It is one of my favorite rooms to perform. The staff has always been friendly and helpful in every way. I notice how well the staff treat the residents and how the residents are always friendly to the staff and to me. Some of the older residents have been there for years and I have gotten to know them. Often I have stayed and talked to them, I have NEVER heard any of them complaining... read more
