We've stopped there a few times to eat, starting about 7 years ago. I used to love the cinnamon rolls. But the last couple times its changed totally. The cinnamon rolls are about half the size and they seem hard, like they have been made the day before and let set out all night.
We stopped in while passing through on our way to Hannibal, MO. We weren’t expecting the bake shop to be open yet, but decided to take a chance — and we’re so glad we did! The friendly owner graciously invited us in, even though the cinnamon rolls weren’t quite ready yet (which we completely understood). Not wanting to leave empty-handed, we picked up a loaf of banana bread instead. We each had a generous slice with our coffee once we got back on the road, and it was absolutely worth the stop. The owner is super kind and friendly! The "Little Bit of Heaven" cookie bar is absolutely delicious! I've had other yummy baked goods (including her signature cinnamon rolls)! She is a great baker! Great place to stop!
Just discovered this wonderful place recently while traveling. Sampled many delicious baked goods…the oatmeal cookies are not to be missed!
