Anchored on one end by J.C. Penny's and on the other by multi-screen Starport theater, it will take some time to see it all. Strategically positioned in the center of it all is a huge, upstairs food court that looks up at an upside-down landscape and skyscapers of Albuquerque.

Excellent – Cottonwood mall is a good place to spend your money. With secutiry everywhere you turn and stores you mostly need. The food stands are great. Very clean and friendly enviroment...
Good store selection but Mall is Quite loud due to warehouse concept inside. – Had a pretty good selection, esp with anchor stores like Penney's, Sears and Dillards involved. Sadly, it was horridly loud with nothing to absorb sound out in the Mall areas since it had the "warehouse" feel with no ceilings. If a kid screams on the other end of the Mall, you hear it on the opposite end. Relaxing Shopping Mall – I recently moved to the west side, I had no idea what a extraordinary Mall was on this side. I used to dread going to the mall. The kids on the east side simply overwelm that mall and evenings and weekends there belong to the thugs. Cottonwood Mall actually has security, I saw them everywhere.
