Utterly dreadful. Don't use these guys. Their lorry had a brakes failure on the motorway - presumably poor maintenance, and we were kept waiting for an additional 72 hours for them to deliver our things. They agreed to refund our unscheduled overnight accommodation costs, but have since not responded to any of the emails that we sent. Belongings damaged, and trying to get them to trigger their insurance but they simply refuse to answer any emails or return phone calls.

Lots of damage to our possessions and we are still waiting for the insurance claim to be processed - 2 months on

Me and my girlfriend moved 3 weeks ago, we called Cottom & Son’s 3 days before as another removal company dropped out. The gents they sent were very professional and did a cracking job. The speed to remove, load and unload our furniture and other items was exceptional. Have recommended them to others as well. If the feedback can be passed to the team who did the Lichfield to Lichfield job, that would be appreciated.

We were very satisfied with the efficiency of the removal team during our recent move from Lichfield Staffordshire to Southport Merseyside. Sadly one piece of furniture (£400) was damaged cosmetically which is impossible to repair. Having reported it to the Company, their policy is just £50 in this case. Reluctantly we agreed to accept this and provided details of our bank for payment. After 6 weeks and many email reminders no payment has been made. They are now ignoring our emails. Not a good overall impression!

Service was great until something got broken. Company managed to get out of paying under the insurance as we hadn't signed the liability form, which we weren't aware of. So if you're going to use, make sure all paperwork is received and signed
