My mother has been here for several months after an extended stay at another very similar facility so I have a basis of comparison. 1) The cottages: very clean and cozy. 2) Food: my mother LOVES the food. She's gained necessary weight. 3) While I understand reviewers' critique of non-existent activities and staff there are unique circumstances to these homes and have heard similar stories at EVERY PLACE. This the worst place to bring a family member ever since I brought my uncle here they’ve been abusing and and not feeding him and it getting from bad to worse
The Cottages are nice looking facilities. Unfortunately, that’s where the quality ends. My relative has been there for 8 months and the actual care is abysmal. This is not about short staffing, this is about lazy, uncaring staff. They sit in the kitchen, socializing with each other and ignore the residents. The residents are left to sit in a chair, staring at the walls for hours on end.
