While traveling, we stopped in at 9 to renew our standard (non executive) membership and to go to a clean restroom. The front gatekeeper barely let us in to renew a membership. Then, when we had to run out for a tampon, they would only let us back in after we told him exactly what was going on. Overall just a rude experience that left a sour taste in our mouths about this Costco. Like, i get it. There's an exclusivity because of membership. Great deals on big stuff. And good, cheap food at the restaurant
The lady working at the Costco food court today was unbelievably rude. I get that everyone has long days, but the way she talked to me was totally uncalled for. She had such an attitude and acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. It honestly ruined my experience — I’ve never been treated that disrespectfully at Costco before. They really need to work on how they talk to people.
Always great bargains, huge store. I stopped buying dairy and any fresh produce that wasn't going to be eaten/drank immediately, shelf life is NOT what it should be, they are aware. I did complain to corporate about the dairy, and they changed to local vendors but I've had cottage cheese go bad since, so I don't buy there anything but milk. most recently started buying dairy from local vendors so I buy milk there again ($2 less per gallon!).
