I have been a long time member. The floor people can pay a bit more attention to the guests.
Costco is a good place to find bargains. Sometimes they have super cheap stuff. It's hit or miss since products are inconsistant. This one gets pretty crowded as it's the only Costco in SF. Food Court is pretty cheap.
I've been a Costco member since I was like 5 years old. This is the standard Costco, except smack dab in the middle of a somewhat major metropolis. Therefore, it gets CRAZY busy. More on that later. Highlights (really, of any Costco) - a good, affordable, photo processing center, optometry shop, and hot food counter (pizza, hot dogs etc).
