I love Costco and enjoy shopping there but the optical section is awful. Most of the women that work there are rude have no patience and talk down to people, there are a few that are helpful. I also find the manager rude and arrogant. The independent optometrists are very good but their receptionist is very rude and does not treat people kindly. Had an appointment with Dr Mark on July 28th and he discovered a tear in my retina. He had me in surgery July 29th to have it corrected! Can’t say enough about how grateful I am for the amazing service!
I am giving the vision center a four-star review rating because there have been a couple things that have been somewhat difficult through the process. Number one is, not returning voicemails. I need to know that if I have a question and who I'm supporting as a vision center that my questions are going to be answered by return phone call. Very rude customer service by the receptionist lady behind the desk. She was rude when I tried to order contacts and make an account, treating me like I am dumb and I am just annoying her and wasting her time. I see other reviews had a similar issue with her. Management needs to replace her. Costco also has very weird policies about trials and contacts.
