I had to replace my progressive glasses after my sister’s puppy chewed them up. My optometrist wanted over $500 with insurance (they said over $900 without insurance). I went to Costco and got better glasses for less than half the price without insurance. I got Oakley frames with progressives lenses that are also polarized and transitional (turn into sunglasses when I go outside) for $279! Katie is so rude! She needs to learn to smile. This WAS my optometrist but after today, I will be finding a new one. When end to get some contacts? And I asked for a water, she looked at me for a couple seconds, and then rolled her eyes and said, it's for our patients. Just picked up a new pair of glasses and they are excellent. Probably the best pair I've every had, and I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years. It makes me think that the eye centers I've used in the past did not use good lense makers. The price was also exceptionally reasonable (I have no insurance). I also like the fact that they did not add on extras like when you buy a new car. Everything I needed, like scratch resistence, was included! Amazing! Fyi, the optometrist exam was also great.
My husband and I had our first experience at Costco Vision Center in Fort Collins today. It was awesome! We were both quite impressed with Dr. Gee. We each felt it was the most complete and comprehensive eye exam we’d had in a long while. Dr. Gee was quite attentive and shared a wealth of information.
