They should separate the reviews into exam / frame purchasing. The eye exam was fine if not confidence-inspiring. The optician was very flat and certainly did not take their time but it wasn't bad enough to complain about, really. Buying the frames was the worst retail experience I've ever had. There was only one employee working when i got there and she was busy with three people so when a clearly very inexperienced staff member came back from break she foisted her on me. The main person that works there is so unbelievably slow that I haven’t been able to get glasses after my mediocre eye exam there. She’s got all the time in the world for you to wait your turn.
Poor customer service, dismissive of complaints, overly expensive, and does anyone ever pick up the phone? Your voicemail box has been full for weeks now. I'm going to Walmart Optical.
The specialist Jennifer D gave my boyfriend and me such an outstanding customer service. We ended up buying 3 glasses and only went to get one, she told us about the promotions and the perks of costco members. Thank you so much!
Updated: 5/9/2025 Initially (a month ago) I wasn't too impressed with this place. This is a new optician called Ellington Eyecare. They do Virtual eye appointments with in-person testing by a technician in the store. Video quality for the virtual exam with the doc was poor and things were a little unorganized. Also, one of the machines was not working correctly, so I had to come back. I went back for a follow-up exam and this time the video quality had improved a lot. Still could be better.
