Dr. Tran, hands down, provided the best eye examination I have ever had and that says a lot. I’ve been wearing contacts since age 17 so that’s 40-plus years of eye exams including glasses at 15. I read the reviews before heading in and he’s not rude. He’s quite direct in a good way, nice and has just one pet peeve and it’s a big one he said. Don’t be late and throw the patient schedule off. I highly recommend getting your eye test here. Dr Tran is kind and helpful. He’s efficient and did a thorough check of my eyes. He took time to answer my questions and gave honest, practical advice about contact lens use & allergic reaction concerns. I really appreciate his no-nonsense approach. Normally, at other opticians, I feel like I’m being upsold products and tests. Dr Tran is upfront with fees. I’ve always had good experiences with Dr. Tran. I think the bad reviews are just because he works quickly and doesn’t leave time for small talk. I personally appreciate how quick and efficient he is. I’m usually just there to get my contacts/glasses prescription updated. I am someone who is significantly nearsighted with an astigmatism and he gets me in and out within 10 minutes!
They outsourced their exams to an independent person who doesn’t take insurance. Waste of time.
All the one star reviews are just people who’ve never dealt with a no nonsense doctor. He’s quick, efficient, and very thorough
