Too much personal information, in my opinion, required for an exam. Why do you need my ethnicity and gender? If the information was important then why not it email it to me the night before like you do with your appointment reminder. Instead, they leave you with their ipad and your memory to enter highly detailed medical information which I believe is totally unnecessary.
Dr. Castro and staff were very helpful and kind.
They first told me a can use my frames then after I pay 130 dollars for my eye exam they told me I couldn’t use my frames. They are not friendly
I had another wonderful experience at the Costco in Lake Grove, NY. I like change up my look with new eyeglasses every 18 months! The optician Alan was so patient in helping me select new frames…They have updated the entire optical department which I feel is now so much more personal, user-friendly and professional. I’ve only been using this Costco for all my optical needs, and highly recommend it. Kudos to Alan and his entire team!
Revision: Had a good experience recently with two new optical technicians, Sharon and Jorge — both were professional and helpful. I am raising a star for the place thanks to them! I have to agree with others who mentioned poor service — Sandy was rude, and her manager wasn’t much better. Beyond the attitude, their lack of expertise in properly setting the segment height for progressive lenses led to multiple issues.
