Can’t get better prices than Costco on the toric dailies I wear. But the online optical department doesn’t take insurance. So I thought that was just the deal: get contacts for less at Costco, but you don’t get to apply insurance. Enter Maria, who is super efficient, patient, kind, and fashionable to boot! Was browsing the selection. Another lady was browsing before me. That lady was acknowledged & assisted. There was zero acknowledgment of me & even courtesy to let me know they’d be with me next. I left. You lost my business. Thought Costco was different than the rest. Turns out they no longer stand out for service. Just pricing & their bottom line.

Worst service ever! Very rude customer service! I arrived at 1:30 to get my prescription and found the place closed for a lunch break end at 2:00 as appeared at the door window, then all of the sudden they have extended it till 3:00 !!! They have no appreciation to other people valued time. I do not recommend such humiliation.
Costco no longer stands behind their glasses. I purchased a pair 26 months ago and another 12 months ago. The first pair had 14 months of use. Matex first accused me of trying to pull a fast one. He said that he could not confirm that these were the same glasses that I bought because the writing on the temple had worn off. When I finally convinced him that they were the same pair, he then stated that Costco won’t replace the lenses in glasses that are more than 24 months old.
