I had a GREAT experience at Costco Optical in Clearwater. Needed a pair of distance glasses and brought in my eye prescription and my own frames. Optician was very accommodating and professional, explaining the process and total costs for the order. They do charge a fee for your own frames, but very reasonable. Also the cost was approximately more than half less than going to a “boutique” optical shop, and quite frankly, in my opinion, with the same quality and craftsmanship.
