My vision is decreased with the glases, lenses. I have purchased two pair, neither works. This is my third time at allowing them to fix these. 800 bucks, 2 pair later, I'm done. They don't answete the phone and we can't leave a message. Screw them. This was the only reason I kept my membership. NOW, I'm done.
I love Costco, and the optician doctors were great. But the optical dept is a sh*t show. If you don’t see the way to get in line, they won’t point it out, they’ll just ignore you for 15+ min. They had to remake my lenses three times and never got them right because they never retook the pupilometer measurements they got wrong on my first visit. They didn’t even offer to have them expedited, I had to ask. They also don’t tell you that they can’t use your full insurance benefits.
Don't understand why it is so difficult to just get a prescription. I don't need stuff shoved into my eyes I don't need light shined into my eyes I don't need are puffed into my eyes I don't need pens poked into my eyes. I've already gone through two eye exams this year trying to get prescriptions that work. But nobody wants to take any time to actually get the prescription correct.

I visited the Costco Optical Dept this morning to look for eyeglasses with my prescription in hand. It was pretty crowded, so did have a bit of a wait. However, it provided me the chance to find a pair of frames I liked. Tania assisted me and was very friendly and stellar in her help. She was also very knowledgeable and gave me honest feedback on the frames I selected. Because of my particular situation, I ended up with 2 pair.
