The intaking optician’s measurements seemed thorough. The glasses I had made ended up being a faulty prescription from a provider across town. So I went next door for an exam with Dr. Duong. Costco re-made my glasses with the new and correct prescription at no charge. The dispensing optician took time to bend the glasses arms to fit comfortably.
My appointment was at 10:30 am and the doctor wasn’t there! The staff in the front desk and technician are friendly, professional and did their best! It’s a shame I can’t said the same about the doctor!! I’m very disappointed because I waited 45 min and never showed off.
Dr. Kevin was out during my appointment, but the fill-in doctor and staff were friendly. The process was straightforward, but I was surprised to learn that while the doctor accepted my insurance, Costco Optical did not. Additionally, my prescription didn’t include my pupillary distance (PD). When I followed up, Dr. Kevin informed me that I’d need to get it measured separately at an optical department.
