Dr. VanEenenaam the in house optometrist and his staff are wonderful. My wife and I have been treated by them for 2 years now and always feel we are getting the best care. They are very professional, thorough, courteous and very easy to communicate with. Highest recommendation.
On 2/9/26 I made an appointment at this location. Immediately wrote the appointment in my calendar. Showed up today and they did not have my appointment listed. The woman at the front desk was downright rude. Telling me I must have called a different Costco. I am neither senile nor stupid . I know which location I called as I used my old receipt ( from this location). Clearly, the gentleman that took my call failed to enter it properly in their system. Dr Marlene Cruz Refused to provide service unless we accepted additional services at an extra charge. We declined.
Was in town from Ohio visiting my Grandma and going on a cruise. When I realized I had forgotten my contacts, I thought I was out of luck. However, this office was able to squeeze me in and help me get my issue resolved. Dr. VanEenenaam was so kind, quick, and helpful. Makes me wish I lived around here so that I could switch eye care providers! highly recommend.
The female doctor has absolutely horrible bedside manner. The male is great! If you can choose, do not choose her. She is rude and insensitive. She told me I’m indecisive during the exam, then was so sure about not giving me the same prescription I’ve used the last 4 years. She was rude about the dialatuon when I said I was nervous as I’ve never had it before and said “we used to do this to each other every day in optometry school I don’t know why all you people make it a big deal” okay that was schooling which you chose.
