I have been going here for years, and I have to point out that the customer service in the optical department itself is always pretty rude. They don’t treat people very well from what I have seen, which is very out of character for Costco, the customer service is great in all of the other departments!! Other than that, Costco makes it very easy to get an updated prescription and get contacts and glasses ordered and I will continue to go here for my optical needs.
The Optometrist, Dr. Tomita was PHENOMENAL extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he went well above and beyond to make myself and my kids comfortable, he also was knowledgeable with my wife's eyesight issues regarding EDS. Best doctor experience I've ever had.
Wendy is extremely rude. She acted like I was a huge inconvenience to her in the most exaggerated manner you could imagine for me simply stopping by the counter to pickup contacts. I was actually shocked at how blatantly disrespectful she was to me. Not sure why she’d choose to work in customer service if people irritate her so badly. We love Costco and all the employees and have never had a bad experience prior, but this was unacceptable.
They had a great selection of eyewear and the staff is really helpful with picking my frames. Great service and fast turnaround!
Super easy and friendly service...AND affordable. I had them make progressive sunglasses and reading glasses. Turnaround time was 1 week. The cost was half the price I was paying for 1 pair of progressives at other places.
