I’ve been an executive member at Costco for 18+ years. I had only visited optical for sun glasses. At the beginning of the year I decided to get eye exam, glasses and contacts there. The optometrist and his staff were good, no issues at all. The staff processing the orders and “helping with adjustments “ have no idea what they are doing. I wore my glasses for about 7- 8 months went back at least 4 times to get them adjusted. Let’s just say I won’t be visiting optical department again.
What a waste of time can’t order the same contacts that I’ve been getting consistently they won’t switch my contact or give me another option waited for over an hour just to be told they dont carry anything and they cant help. Costco eye-center is going down hill. Watched 3 employees walk away during busy hours with huge wait.
I set my appointment for 9:30am on a Saturday, but got called at 6:16pm the Friday before the appointment and the lady on the phone stated that my insurance is no good. I excused myself for what I was about to say and told her that she was wrong! She then told me that she ran it and I don’t exist and will need to call my insurance myself to figure it out. I thanked her and tried calling my insurance after hours and had to eventually log online to find out my insured is perfectly fine and she must have been running it wrong, ... read more
I’ve been going here for the last four years and I have never had a bad experience, but today I want to write a review about Cynthia and Jennifer! They were very patient with my mother and I and were very attentive to us and have awesome feedback when we needed opinions on the (many) frames we were contemplating on. They were awesome on communication and have never given the impression that they were stressed during the rush I came in, which helped with the stress of it all.
