Tracy in the optical department is fantastic, she is incredibly skilled, she spent so much time making sure my glasses were correct, I would give her 10 stars out of five.
The staff and service at the in-store optical department is great but Dr. Queendy Cheung is THE WORST. It's shocking that Costco allows this independent business to continue their relationship, and it's upsetting that the Google Maps listing for Queendy's practice that had dozens if not hundreds of horrible reviews has mysteriously disappeared. Go ahead and buy glasses here, but DO NOT book an appointment with Queendy!
I've had a very positive experience with the Costco Optical department. The staff are consistently professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, and they made both purchasing my glasses and having them fixed and adjusted a smooth process. While the frame selection isn't the largest, the prices are reasonable and the service makes up for it. Gerri was the best!! At costco south I was told I had to pay for new glasses, came to see what north had, and Gerri made sure to check and she noticed my warranty was still valid so I got a replacement for free!! I appreciate her attention to detail and taking her time to check rather than rushing through. She was kind, personable, and just a great time. I recommend coming here to get your glasses because Gerri and her coworkers really do care and will do everything to help!
I had such a wonderful experience at Costco Optical thanks to Gerri. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to really listen to my needs and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way.
