The audiologist took more time to complain about ear wax in the left ear than in explaining to my mother and myself on how to use $2,000 hearing aids. I read the manual when I got home and realized she'd said nothing that was useful. Now have to go back for a 2nd fitting because the left one doesn't go in without hurting her bc it is now inflamed. I was very pleased with the testing of my hearing at Costco, Brighton. I’ve been feeling like I needed hearing aids for awhile. I’d be at a movie and not have clearly heard what people in the movie were saying; everyone around me was laughing, but I didn’t understand what was so funny. I also was having trouble hearing what people around me were saying. If I was in a larger group meeting, I wouldn’t understand what people were saying.
