It’s very unfortunate that this is the only grocery store in Blaine. The staff have consistently been cold, rude, and have the worst attitude. They are not friendly, and seem to be annoyed when you ask for help. I’ve had similar complaints from other family members, and coworkers as well. It would be great if the staff took a course on professionalism and respectful retail etiquette. I’ve been in retail for 15+ years, there’s no excuse to be awful to customers.
Update: 11/16/25: This store really needs better management. Today, I bought a bag of “mixed variety” creamer potatoes. They were on the top shelf of the fresh produce aisle, directly under the misters, as are the shrink wrapped English cucumbers. Neither are ever supposed to get wet or be stored in wet conditions. The potatoes, from Canada, literally say on the bag to store in a “cool, DRY, dark place, as are all potatoes. I live very close to this grocery store. I rarely frequent it due to the astronomical prices. 2-5$ more for any given product. Coupons do not scan, staff is not available to assist, 10 people at self ck and help ck. Absolutely no help and no smiles. What can I say that is positive?.......it's spacious, conveniently located, close to other resources such as gas, hardware, physical therapy, pizza, dollar store etc.
Update 10/19/25: I added a star because the Produce Director reached out and I was able to provide additional feedback, which was received graciously. They even sent me a gift card, which I appreciate. I really hope they can do better with the produce as everyone who lives on this side of town has no other local option.
