Best Makeup Artistry School – This is a technical school for serious artists not a beauty school. Most students go on to working in the fashion or entertainment industries. I have been a makeup artist for over 30 years and have met and worked with many graduates of Cosmix as well as other schools. If the purpose of going to a school and investing time and money is to come out on the other end a highly skilled makeup artist, I would highly recommend Cosmix.
Custom-blended or ready-to-wear cosmetics as well as great service. – In Short Cosmix is a well-kept secret. There's a retail showroom up front and a wholesale area in the back where makeup classes are given. As a consumer, you can get a free makeover. You don't have to buy anything, but who can resist custom-blended colors matched to individual skin tones? Rumor has it that the owner trained several L.A. makeup artists to the stars in color blending. If it's good enough for J.Lo, it's good enough for us.
