The man that came out from the back wgen I entered immediately told me he didn't want to be there, that he hated working there that it was his 80lb dying Dads store and he just wanted to go home. He didn't really even look at some coins that I brought in and pretty much just fed me a bs story so I would leave. So, I left and was very disappointed in the service I received there!
On 12/23 a friend asked me to help him sell 12 Morgan Dollars his Dad had given him years ago. Cortez was near by so I went there. The Morgan Dollars were good to very good. Cortez offered $15/coin which is less than 1/2 the silver value. When I asked for $30/coin, Cortez laughed at me. $30/coin is $2 less than silver value and probably $5-10 less than coin value. Do not go to Cortez. A rip off.
I brought in an older Silver coin set that I had and sold it to them at a fair market value. They were very nice people inside. It's way bigger than their old location. So it's interesting to see.
