When purchasing a drink and snack before work one day I was rung up at the register by the owner. She was very rude in the way she went about handling our interaction and furthermore failed to thank me for my service. Other than that instance, I had no problems with other employees who were polite like a service industry associate should be. Overall, not worth the hassle to get a drink and snack :/ plenty of other convenience stores in the area.
Horrific business, currently being investigated by US Department of Labor for tax fraud and evasion. Don't pay employees for overtime, refuse to supply employees with W2 if parting on bad terms(refusing to work for them). I was an employee in 09, and personally witnessed a special needs child accidently knock over a 6 pack of alcohol and the owner Ms Lin threaten not only the child but the mother with a lawsuit!! Horrible business.
