Absolutely the best bank to be with. I have been with CCFU for 10 years now. I have not had any problems with my checking or savings accounts; unlike a few other credit unions in the Ithaca area, that credited my deposits into someone else's account several times. CCFU has also alerted me to fraudulent actions on my account. I highly recommend CCFU. Totally worth the drive from the iIthaca area.
Corning credit union is total garbage I had fraudulent charges close to 3800 dollars taking from me in may they wont give me my money back and a employee lied on me so now I have to get a lawyer involved this happen in may so so going on close to 2 months ago my new bank card I received got frozen I called them the fraud department asked me if I tried to use my card at a tractor supply in Tennessee I said um no iam in elmira at the dollar general on lake st someone tried to use my card 4xs I had my card in my pocket and like... read more

As a long time member of CCU. I’m not sure why the call center treats long standing Members the way they do. When you ask to speak to upper management they block your efforts. They are not fourth coming in telling the truth. Very shady. I have been forced to file a complaint with the National Credit Union Association.
