We attended the early fall Safety Harbor weekend with Dave & Sue. We had been through years of counseling as well as other conferences without much change in the ways we related to one another. Resentments had definitely built up for both of us and we were nearing hopelessness. We attended in Ohio retreat. We have been together for 25 years and married for 17 years. We were in the worst season of our marriage this past year. We had betrayal, trust issues, and so much hurt. Dave was an amazing leader and counselor. Everything that was taught was so helpful. This ministry really showed us how we can be healed through Jesus. There were actions and steps to take and we were taught how to do those actions and steps. This helped save our marriage. We are forever grateful for the ministry and the team.

We attended a retreat at Glen Eyrie in Colorado and won’t bother speaking much to the location except that it was DREAMY and we loved the stunningly beautiful surroundings to explore and reflect in during the portions of the weekend that required us to go off individually or as a couple to work through “assignments”. The weekend is a mixture of workshop style teaching (but worshipful and slow paced so as not to be an overwhelming influx of content) and personal/couple work (not ever to be done in front of other attendees). This was an amazing weekend for us. We are a young couple of only 6 years of marriage with 2 kids and another on the way. Our family is definitely raptly growing. I cannot stress how important this weekend has been for us as we got a better way to do this. THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY. For me personally, it was a new start, a deeper connection with my Heavenly Father and so much healing and hope restored. This weekend was incredible and such an eye opener in so many ways. My husband came to this not expecting much. We had a blended family, married for 5 years and constant arguing, bickering and just being mean to each other. This weekend opened our eyes. We have become closer to each other spiritual, mentally, we respect each other and I couldn't imagine my life without him. If your marriage is to the point of no return. I promise you this weekend will be one you never forget. You will get something out of it.
