This facility should be shut down immediately. On July 30th, 2025, my 4-year-old son—who has a medically documented allergy to peas—was served peas during lunch. When he told the teacher about his allergy, she dismissed his concern and told him to "pick them out", completely ignoring the severity of his condition. This reckless behavior led to a severe allergic reaction that could have been life-threatening. Kindercare Cornelius, Mrs. Connie and her team have by far exceeded any expectations that I had when putting my kid into daycare. The amount of learning and growing that I have seen, has been incredible. There is a good balance between indoor and outdoor play. The app is amazing and I have no idea how these teachers do what they do by keeping parents up to date on their child’s day. The different types of food and variety helps me at home. I highly recommend KinderCare of Cornelius. Ms. Connie was incredibly attentive during the enrollment process, reviewing all of the paperwork with me & ensuring I understood the policies & protocols they have in place to keep the kids safe & happy. Ms. Mireya & Ms. Carolina are the wonderful teachers in the infant room. My son would get a bit emotional at drop off, but they always greet him with enthusiasm & excitement, putting him at ease. Cornelius Kindercare has been under new management for 6 months now. There have not been any classroom closures This Preschool is fully staffed with great teachers that love children The center is very warm and welcoming and the children are very happy Cornelius Kindercare is a great place for children to learn and grow. It’s a second home for the children. It’s really a great center. We love it!!
