I just called and spoke to someone named S^^^^r. My doctor referred me. He stated that they were not accepting any new applicants and changed my referral to Matthews. I went online and there are several PA's and FNP's in Huntersville, who are accepting new patients, so I'm confused. I was also informed that in order to get an appointment I would have to give my credit card, even though I would not be charged (unless I did not show up or notify them within 24 hours). I felt like I was being racially profiled. No thank you!

Regrettably, if it were possible to assign a rating of zero stars to this medical office, I would do so. The conduct of the front desk staff—particularly a young male employee—was remarkably unprofessional, characterized by a lack of courtesy and an unwillingness to assist patients effectively. My primary sent me here. I am already on medications and she said that this place would be able to take care of it. I called multiple times, multiple days, and got the same voicemail. Finally left a voicemail stating I would be a new patient and was referred here. Didn't get a call back. So, whatever consideration I had as being a patient at novant is over thanks to this. I wish I could give this place negative stars. I had an appointment for 3/3 at 1:40 pm. When I arrive at the facility the male receptionist informs me that the nurse practitioner, Pa Xiong is out sick and the manager is out as well, and my appointment has been cancelled. While I understand that people get sick, it is unacceptable that I didn’t receive a phone call in the morning stating my appointment was cancelled. I have only been there a couple of times and the receptionist is always polite and accommodating. The staff is very kind. I hate going to doctors appointments and waiting. At this office I have not experienced that.
