Kristie at Core Pediatric Therapy has completely transformed our son’s life. When he was two, a doctor told us there was nothing we could do—that neurological damage was done. Kristie has changed my son's life in ways that are hard to put into words. When he first started seeing her, he was so stressed out and anxious from school (Kindergarten) that he had developed a guppy type breathing pattern where he would sometimes gulp for air as a maladaptive coping mechanism. He was unable to even lay down on his back and close his eyes, unless it was his choice to do so and he was in control. Kristie is amazing. She has been an angel in my son's life, helping him with his tongue tie, releasing fascia and helping him latch better, sit up unassisted, amongst other things. She is a joy to be around and a breath of fresh air. My son loves her and I am so grateful for her that I travel 3 hours to come to her practice. She is one of a kind and any child and parent would be lucky to work with her!
If it weren’t for Kristy my husband and I know we wouldn’t have the son we have today. Kristy rewired our son’s sensory nervous system allowing him to be able to process information efficiently without getting overwhelmed. My son struggled to participate in the introduction of sports, would not know where to begin at playgrounds or museums and had a speech delay.
