My wife and I knew Melina would be a great photographer as we considered her for our wedding. We ultimately ended up contacting her for our Maternity photoshoot and she exceeded our expectations. She was easy to communicate with and to work with. She provided recommendations and feedback and worked with the props we brought for the photoshoot. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall, our experience was okay, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite what we had hoped for. We specifically wanted our wedding photos to feel very candid and natural, capturing the little in-between moments and emotions throughout the day. Instead, a lot of the focus was on posed and portrait-style photos, so we felt like many of the candid moments we were hoping to have captured were missed. Melina is such an amazing talent to work with from start to finish! From our engagement shoot all the way through our wedding reception, she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Melina was so organized and patient with us the entire day of our wedding. She was very calm and directed us so that our pics would be exceptional. We had our ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and reception in Downtown Los Angeles and she helped make every part seamless and stress-free.
