I am so thankful for CopperWood - the facilities and staff are amazing! When I originally visted CopperWood, I knew within minutes that this was where I wanted my father to be. The process of relocating my dad from Florida to Iowa was daunting, but the staff was so incredibly helpful and patient with me, answering all my questions, allowing me to visit multiple times to choose the perfect apartment. CopperWood in Ankeny Iowa has been such a welcoming new part of our family, first for mom and now dad too. Brand new and beautiful, it feels more like a condo building than assisted living. Their two bedroom is large with fresh inviting interiors.

My mother has lived at CopperWood for a year now and has received excellent care. The daily activities keep her engaged. The staff is excellent and always responsive to any concerns.

Don’t apply to work in this kitchen. Even HR has no idea what’s going on in the hiring process. Management is not transparent at all when their real intentions are to use you however they see fit. This is NOT a set schedule, respectful environment. The way management talks about other departments and employees is inappropriate. Steer clear of this place.
