The buyout by Nuvision is horrible. I don't align with their values and ethics. Not to mention they are only open 3 days a week.
The Nuvision merger from Safe America has been an awful experience. I have to wait over 2 hours to hear from a representative and still receive no call back or a follow up. Its frustrating to not have access to my money or debit cards. If my car loan wasn't with this credit union, I would take all my money out my accounts and go elsewhere.
The transition from Cooperative Center Federal Credit Union to Nuvision has been really awful. I enrolled as a member with CCFCU when living down the street from them in Berkeley and was glad to have another branch close to me when I purchased a home in this area. Nuvision has been completely disconnected and has done nothing but cause me stress. I've been a member of the Berkeley CU for 25 years. I'm using the same member number that my parents had back in the 60's. Because they're a small credit union they have their quirks. But I stayed with them because they were a local institution and not a mega bank. Ever since Nuvision bought them out (it was not a merge) the service has gone into the toilet. Every time I want to use my debit or credit card their system flags it as fraudulent. Trying to buy gas 50 miles from home and they won't let me use my card. I just trie... read more
