This company is fantastic! I had earlier contacted some other places who gave me crazy number for moving a small amount of furniture and several boxes less than a half a mile away. A good friend suggested Cool Hand Movers and they saved the day. Even when the client changed the move day mere hours before they kindly adjusted and rescheduled. DO NOT HIRE. UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST, AND AGGRESSIVE. I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Cool Hand Movers was a total disaster from start to finish. They are running a complete bait-and-switch scam. I paid for and was promised a 3-man crew, but they only sent 2 guys, forcing the move to take much longer while still trying to charge me the full rate. I normally don’t write reviews, but after this experience I feel it’s important to share what happened from my own perspective. My husband already left a review about our move, and in their response the company chose to deny everything and even call my husband dishonest rather than acknowledge any part of what occurred or offer an apology. Because I was also present during the entire move, I want to describe exactly what I personally witnessed. I was going on my vacation, but my boss asked me to schedule a move of a two bedroom apartment into storage while I was gone. I was sure I was going to be getting calls all day, but that was not the case. I was able to vacation stress free and my boss said the movers (Johnnie and the whole team) were really great. We had previously used this company to move custom made furniture to our business and had a great experience then as well.

I had an excellent experience with Cool Hand Movers and can’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, communication was fantastic. Matt did a great job coordinating everything via email ahead of the move. Clear, responsive, and professional, which immediately put me at ease.
