I stayed here for 3 weeks as a homeless single father and they were the only place to have a room specifically for single fathers. I'm grateful they let me stay here and helped me with everything I needed for me and my kid. They helped me out with clothes and food, gave me information about jobs and other places to help me out for transportation and places to apply to live at. I LOVE JESUS CHRIST, THEY FAILED ME FOR A DRUG I DIDNT DO SCAMTEST, EVEN FAILED FOR ALCOHOL I HADNT HAD ANY ALCOHOL IN YEARS(SAVE 3ISH TIMES I DONT KNOW) NOR DRUGS!!! ZERO!!! THEY DIDNT APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING JUST THREW ME OUT AND IMMEDIATELY QENT TO ER BROUGHT BACK A REAL TEST ALCOHOL NEGATIVE BUT THE ER DID NOT TEST FOR MDMA THIS DRUG THEY FAILED ME FOR!!!! Cookeville Rescue Mission is a Christian Faith Based organization which is not state or government funded who helps people in need with shelter, 3 meals a day showers, laundry, computer resources, phone calls a handful of rules and guidelines to follow but most of all bringing people closer to God.
