Just had to file my very first protest. Had an informal conversation with Chris at ext 122. He was rude, interrupted me constantly. His excuse for my raised appraisal is well you paid more. So what does that matter if I can’t sell it for that amount. Every time I talked he had a sarcastic reply. They've lost 4 times in a row on BOTH my property AND my business personal property tax (this year they were found to have DOUBLED what I should have paid on BPP). I've been waiting for 10 weeks for a refund of the money the Binding Arbitration said they had to repay me. The state refunded my arbitration fee long ago. The CCAD said 6-8 weeks.
