Ana and Jeff were extremely helpful and patient in helping me choose the correct bike! I had such a great experience, my husband and I came back and purchased a second bike for him.
I went to two Conte bike shops today. First, I went to the shop in Navy Yard where they kindly gave my bike the once over and filled the tires. They did not have the product I wanted in stock, but they looked up their other shops and this one in Old Town Alexandria had it. I called and they put it aside for me. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I've had good experiences with Conte's Bike Shop in Alexandria, and today's visit was no exception. I stopped by to get help with an issue related to my tire not clinching properly to the outer rim. A couple of the service staff and mechanics jumped in right away, trying several approaches patiently and thoroughly. I truly appreciated their willingness to help, specifically since they did so on a pro bono basis. Thank you, Conte's Alexandria! I'll definitely be back again and again.
Meghan just helped me fix my road bike shoe when I walked in and asked for help. She was so kind, friendly, and supportive. This store has always been super friendly and helpful, even when people aren't buying things. I appreciate the low-pressure environment, and hope to be bring them some business because I value this attitude.
