Had a free consultation today with parachute credit counseling. I had fallen on insanely hard times after a couple years battle with cancer and having little money during to afforf anything, getting into credit card debt as well as my past student loan getting worse as well, losing a job recently and starting a new one with not the greatest pay and a million fears and worries about finances coming my way. I can not recommend Parachute credit counseling enough! I was overwhelmed with Credit card debt and was not able to continue with the high interest rate. I had a consultation to discuss if ot was a good fit for me and already felt SO MUCH relief after that call. Stacey Waugh went above and beyond and was so gracious, even when i started crying from overwhelm. They worked out proposals with my creditor's and it was so seamless. Highly recommend!!

(Buffalo branch), as part of a suite of services I'm receiving as a disabled Gulf War veteran dealing with depression, PTSD and a not so smooth transition from Rochester to a more costly, more rural and less homey house in the Southern Tier.
