I’ve been in this store many times because I live close by. Today when I went into the store, a woman was dropping off a painting and did not know the value of it. The owner said he didn’t know either. I’ve worked in art for 40 years and offered my opinion on the value. A simple no thank you would have been great. Had an odd and unpleasant interaction in the store. Decided to stop by after running some errands in the area. Mind you, we came in around 40 mins before the store is officially closing according to Google. The owner (assuming) just greeted us and said to ask for help if we need anything. I was in the store the other day and overheard a concerning interaction between the own and another customer (this is the second time I've been in this store and witnessed his arrogance and so I decided to write a review). The customer had taken a photo of an item in a display case (nothing to identify the store and not someone's original artwork). What a lovely Store with lots of interesting items. I was unfortunately in a bit of a rush so didn't have the time to browse and shop as much as I wanted to. I will definitely be back. The Lady in the Shop was very helpful too. I bought a lovely little Wade Dog Ornament. I'll come back soon when I have more time. Thanks 👍
Man who was giving us service has a very bad attitude and was huffing and puffing when we wanted to buy jewelry asking for prices. We wanted to buy a couple items and he was slamming the information book on the counter. It’s too bad the service we received was not nice because it was nice items and we just were asking basic costs and value of the jewelry.
