I went here today. I was photographing an item in order to forward it to a collector. I was attempting to facilitate a sale and make a collector friend happy. I was some what taken aback when I was approached by the person in charge telling me that I should not be taking pictures without asking permission. He proceeded to snatch the item from the shelf while reprimanding me. Needless to say, I will not be back.
Every time we dropped by we always find interesting items with great price here.

Consignment World has amazing and friendly staff, who are always willing to help you out. The store has a wonderful and diverse collection of vintage/antique items, making it one of my favourite spots in Ottawa. I'm excited to go back soon and see what new items they have! I highly recommend Consignment World to anyone who collects vintage and antique stuff!
