This was hands down one of the coolest photography experiences I’ve ever had!! Conrad Young is not only incredibly talented, but also deeply knowledgeable and intentional in how he works. He guided us through staging, explained the full wet plate process, and made the whole experience feel immersive rather than just a photoshoot. You walk away with more than a photo, you walk away understanding it. Highly recommend working with him.
Conrad’s tintype photography is amazing! I’m so happy I took my family to get our portraits done. We ended up shooting a bunch of photos because they were so awesome, I wanted more and more variations. Now we have beautiful keepsakes that will outlive all of us. There is literally no one we would rather have our portraits made by. As a professional photographer myself, I often find it difficult to sit for other photographers and to trust them with the very intimate exchange of having our portraits made. I feel a great amount of discomfort being on that side of the lens, and have a very active young child who doesn’t enjoy being in front of the camera either.
