My experience with this credit union’s lending process raised serious concerns about transparency. At the time I applied for the loan, my credit profile was strong. However, after the application was reviewed, I was informed that the credit union had considered a past home loan modification (approximately 5 years ago) as a negative factor. Avoid working with Connex at all costs. My vehicle was deemed a total loss in December and instead of the lien holder getting the necessary paperwork over to the GAP insurance holder, Connex passed the buck and it took over a month to get my claim opened. I am going on three months of paying off a loan for a vehicle I no longer own that should be paid off due to my GAP insurance. Connex CU is a rodeo circus at best.

Connex used to be a great place... then COVID hit. They were the last financial institutionin aware of to do tap to pay. While waiting, my card got skimmed. Lost $3K. Connex was instantaneous to let me know, and sent me a tap to pay card. They informed me that my SSN and banking info was also skimmed, but they'd do everything to stop it from happening again. A month later, I lost $5K. Now, I've lost another 2K. This time I was told it was my fault for letting my friends use my card... but I've never let anybody use my card i... read more

These people just make up numbers. My payoff amount is $1.11. The amount due is $16.28. Someone please make sense out of this.
