Friendly staff and never a long wait.
Connect - nope. First -nope. Try calling. A 10 min wait. Try the local branch it flips you to the central line and a 10 min wait. You get fantastic advertising where they assure you that it is easy, personal and with you in mind. My experience is low customer service. Low staffing levels and nothing about this bank is with the customer in mind. Merging with Servus didn’t help. The service from here is about the same as WestJet. I think they use the same teleprompter annoying and completely irritating.
Avoid this company at all costs!! They are scams! After you deposit your cheque from the insurance company, they hold your money for 10 days. When you finally go to access your funds, they charge you a $9 fee for the draft! This was the worst banking service I have ever experienced. Additionally, Reena, who works there, is the most unhelpful person I've encountered, and their promises mean nothing!
After years of dealing with this credit union, they cannot track a history of cheques received over years and therefore want to put holds on cheques. Hey Connect, please get to know your customers better, especially after banking with you for more than a decade! The last 10 of 14 times I deposited a cheque from this same company, there was no holds put on the US cheque, yet today I was told there would be a hold again. I gave up on your service today and went to BMO where there was no problems depositing the cheque.
Unreliable. We met Waki Saeed to submit an application for pre-qualification for a mortgage. After supplying all over our personal information and preforming a credit check he stopped replying to all our emails. We are now pursuing an official complaint through the branch manager.
