Sadly now has lost the credit union values and is just like any other bank.
Five stars??? Not a chance. I started out with Calgary Credit Union then to First Calgary. Been with them for +40 years. Since they changed to ConnectFirst it’s been a painful downhill ride. I think it’s time I switch banks. I deposited $6000 and asked for it to be put into a TFSA. The lady (not TeriLynn as she’s amazing!) put it into an RRSP instead. Because I’m over 70, my RRSPs are full so it went into a RIFF. Guess what? CRA deemed it as income!! I had to pay over $4000 on my income tax. Thanks for the screwup! Unreal! D... read more
I have been a business member for 16 years through 3 name changes. This branch has continued to let me down. Aside from Terry-Lynn, the entire staff lacks basic fundamental training and any sense of business acumen. Now with the 100% non-private, nonsensical office design that allows anyone and everyone waiting, to listen in and witness your transactions...i think its time to start fresh and look for a new financial institution to handle my business affairs. This branch is on a massive downhill slide.
Have been a member since it was Calgary Credit Union. Service used to be great. Now no one answers the phone at the branch. On the call centre have a 40 minute wait just to make an appt with a human…Disgusted.
