Macleod Trail branch: Awhile back, I had to withdraw money out of my line of credit. The extra payments that you make to help bring down what you owe - do not go to the principal of the loc. They claw their interest as well. When I addressed this to the bank - I was advised that they shouldn't be taking interest on extra payments. They advised me to figure out how much they took as it was too costly for them to figure out this amount. I did my best and it is probably around $60 that they received.
