I start my review with a heavy heart!! My nan came to this Nursing Home 1 year ago. We Wanted to make sure my nan had the best care, and was looked at. That’s all we wanted. At first they treated my Nan the best, she had everything she needed, showers, food everything was timed and well presented but after 1 month things started being missed out. Extremely Disappointed and Deeply Concerned Our experience with this care home has been heartbreaking. At first, everything looked promising during our initial visit, the staff were friendly, the environment seemed clean, and we were reassured that our grandmother would be in good hands. Unfortunately, that facade quickly faded. Over time, the standard of care dropped drastically. If you care about your loved one’s PLEASE do not send them here !!!! My Nan was there for a year and at first it looked great, as time went on I started to notice the staffs appalling behaviour towards my Nan and how they would ignore her. I am extremely disappointed with the way this care home treated my grandmother’s personal belongings. Without giving us any notice or the option to clear her room ourselves, her items were hastily packed and returned to us in a black bin bag, mixed in with her plant pots and other personal effects. There was no care, no respect, and no communication. These were her belongings — full of sentimental value — and to see them treated like rubbish was deeply upsetting.
