I saw the reviews for Sam Wakefield on Google and decided to book an appointment with him today — and it was fantastic. He immediately identified the actual issue, used the right stretches, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the session. I genuinely enjoy seeing him, and if anyone is looking for a physio for the first time, I would definitely recommend Sam. He is an absolute legend. Great work, Sam — your care, attention, and friendly nature make a real difference.
My partner came to Complete Balance Physiotherapy back in September. He saw Sam Wakefield. He came in with severe lower back pain that he had had for over a year and a half! and newer sciatica symptoms (pain down the back of the legs), which is normally a clear sign of something more serious going on, possibly something nerve related. Sam diagnosed my partner with "muscle guarding" without even recommending getting scans done to investigate, even though my partner showed every sign that this should've been what was decided. ... read more

I have attended Complete Balance Physiotherapy in Maribyrnong on and off for a number of years for various issues. I have always found the physiotherapists there to be very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They develop practical and achievable plans and offer a range of services to support goals. The physios are very qualified and experienced. In particular I recommend Sam Wakefield and Tanya Paunovic who have been absolutely amazing. Reception staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
