Compeer financial miscalculated my share of a family trust on a schedule K a couple of years ago, and thereby underestimated the taxes I owed. I dutifully updated my tax returns after receiving the corrected schedule K, which not only required a rather painful amendment process but also has resulted late fees that I wouldn't have had to pay if they had calculated the schedule K correctly the first time. Extremely frustrated.
